Okay. Just got a tablet for the first time. I have to say. I am enjoying the experience. Figured I would sort of document the occasion by putting up the first image I did (or how much of it is done so far at least).
The hero may look kinda like Icon from Milestone but really from what I understand Goodwill (Captain Goodwill actually but I don't really understand why everyone in comics has to be a captain when I am positive a good percentage of them have neither served in the armed forces or owned a boat) is more than a black Superman. Personally I have never liked the Red/Green color scheme much because it always clashes weird and reminds me of Christmas colors but in this instance it seems to work. I didn't design him but so far the idea of him has grown on me a lot. Anyway Captain Goodwill belongs to Andre Campbell whom runs Heritage Comics: [link] A group I am currently writing a Book for and hopefully will be getting a Deviant Art account of their own soon. I will Update this picture in the future I am sure but as my first fully computer made piece I felt like throwing it up here (and throwing up is the correct term I assure you) |
