I have been wanting to do a fan art of one of
 's Characters for a while now. My first choice was Wu (Because anybody who refers to themselves as "Black God" is awesome) but when I sat down and read Gileads background I became intrigued. The first thing I thought of was The Morning Star, Lucifer (Claimed by some to be Satan but from Direct translation is actually a different Angel altogether). Also seeing as how half of the concepts I have for stories are somehow related to Angels in some fashion, I am drawn to stories surrounding them. Gilead seemed like a cool, if obscenely powerful, character. The symbol on the right is my take on Gileads Emblem. If there's one thing about his design that bothers me, it is that, so I just drew a separate one for my own personal amusement. It is black and white because I cannot color and refuse to try.
